That would be the truck i would want, if I bought a 2wd. I would probobly get a Ram 2500 V10 or a Silverado HD 8.1 4WD if I could. Nice truck, in general. I always liked surprising GT's in my old V6 S10. The looks on their faces were priceless.

Did you use your S 10 to tow anything? If so what did you tow (how heavy) and how did you like the S 10 as a Tow vehicle. Reason I am asking I recently traded my crew cab dually (454 and a five speed)in on an ss and I am looking to replace it with a less expensive, more economical, and smaller vehicle. The K3500 would tow anything and was reliable, but expensive to operate.

well my friend with the RT, his mom had a 4 cylinder S10 and they towed an old chevy truck with had to be about 5000 pounds. But they only towed it about 50 feet.:d

If you get the 4.3 liter V6 I think it is they will do a pretty good job of towing but I don't know how much you are gonna be towing. I know my brothers 4.0L V6 ranger can tow quite a bit for a little 6 cylinder.
