Got a question if anyone knows. I took my car to a body shop yesterday about a big cat scratch on the black section beside the drivers door. The guy said it was not through the paint only the clear coat. He said he would have to sand it down and reclear coat that section. Have any of you had that done or would you? I tried polishing with the Zaino and another wax but the big scratch will not go away. [Frown]

Have the Body Shop do it. To get the scratch out your going to have to use polishing compound, not wax, and you'll rub though the clear coat any way.
Just MHO.

Thanks for the tip. It is so hard to make decisions that can alter your car forever. I would not even have it done except for the fact that it stares you in the eyes everytime you get in the car. If the body shop does a good job then I will be happy. [Smile]

Have a body shop do it once and do it right the first time. It's too good and too new to try short cuts! Good luck with your new Z28!!
