I would say the best bang for the buck is the air box lid and filter assembly.

Second, I think I really like the idea of putting C5 brakes on front, to stop these cars. We have lots of power, and it would be nice to stop them faster as well.

Congrats on the new purchase, and nice to have you on board! [Smile]

Welcome! [Smile]

I agree with Steve. My first mod was the air box lid & filter, followed closely by a Strut (Shock) Tower Brace. These are relatively inexpensive.

Welcome to the madness we call Camaro fanatascism. Your first purchase should be a Lid and filter (K&N or Holley Powershot). Follow that with a Shock Tower Brace (STB). That should get you started for a very rteasonable amount of money.

Welcome! great questions! As everyone stated above I would start with the airbox and filter. But be careful, once you start with the mods you wont want to stop! [Smile] New Brakes, Stut tower brace and then maybe a new Y-pipe and exhaust system. Look at the signatures most of us have at the bottom of our posts and you can get a good idea of what most have done. Again; welcome and good luck, most of all, keep it safe.
