Well, she's still not running right, she's been in the shop more in the last 4 months than in my garage. The last dyno put down a whopping 251 rwhp out of the 361CI LT4...Not good at all. They are tearing into the motor now, trying to track down the problem.
On the plus side, I picked up a new project car, it's a 1988 Formula, I've already started to fix her up, and would like to turn her into an autocross car to compliment my strip car, the Z. She's a white hardtop WS6 with the M5, Borg Warner 9 bolt with 3.45's, silver GTA rims, and some other minor things. I have a complete 4th gen Firebird interior that I would like to drop in as soon as I get the Camaro back. I have already started with the seats, my black leather 4th gen Trans Am seats are already in, as well as a 4th gen shift knob, and the Firebird steering wheel with radio controls will be going in this weekend. She's a fun car to drive, and traps 74 in the 1/8th with horrible traction. That means she should be a low 14 second car, which for a stock 305 TPI, is pretty darned good...

That sounds like a nice car to have fun with.14 second times with a stock 305 would be great since most of them will only run in the 15's stock.

Yeah, I know, it surprised me, I was expecting a sub 70 trap speed, I was quite pleased with it. Posts: 471 | From: Justin, in the Great State, Texas | Registered: Sep 2000
