I'll be leaving from the DC area bright and early Wednesday morning. Anybody else leaving on the same day from the Mid-Atlantic area?

Hello,
Not quite DC but close. We'll be coming from northern Philadelphia Area. Haven't completely decided on a route, have several in mind. Supposed to arrive on the 18th. [Smile]

By the way, what road or highway is "Skyline drive"? [Confused]

Hooker - "Skyline Drive" that's the name of the road, ...the northern end is in Va. about where Rt. 66 meets I-81 (near Front Royal). It runs parallel to (and just east of) I-81.

John - The NY/NJ/PA group will be merging together in Carlisle, PA TUES. morning around 10am. From there we'll be headed towards Skyline Dr. Hopefully after the meeting at Bear Mtn. tonight we will have a clearer picture of our route and where we might be Wed. morning...

A cruise all the way down Skyline Drive on the way to Bowling Green would kick butt...(heck, I've got a season pass!)

Lemme know where you think the group will be by Wednesday morning. I'll do what I can to meet up with the crew. I could probably meet everybody in Front Royal (north entrance to Skyline) early Wednesday morning, maybe 6 or 7am'ish.
