For those of you who attended the Camaro/Firebird Gathering in Bowling Green last year, you may recall that I put up a challenge to a couple of clubs to match my donation and come up with enough money to put a Large 24x24 F-body Brick on the Museum Sidewalk.
My thanks goes to:
American Camaro Association Central Indiana Camaro Club Lehigh Valley Camaro Association Western Michigan Camaro Club Worldwide Camaro
-- for meeting my challenge.......
Evidently several of you are pretty interested in purchasing individual bricks to surround the 24 x 24 brick.......because I have received several requests on how to go about purchasing a brick......and I know that Andy Archer has, as well.
You can find out more about purchasing a brick (and more info. such as sizes available, pricing, etc) by going to:
And....for those who are attending and want to see the brick they purchase.....orders are due by no later than August 15, 2002 in order to have them installed by September 20.
When ordering...make sure you specify that it is to go in the Camaro/FIrebird section!

I'm thinking about it. The SSOA could do it by accepting funds from the members interested, and their names put on the brick. Just a thought.

There are prizes for the clubs with the most members attending Bowling Green. If we win something it could go towards a brick.

I don't know why the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club did not purchase one of these bricks! All we do is raise money for charities anyway. I will mention it at our next club meeting. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

I'm for the SSOA purchasing a big block. I've ordered one personally but still would like to see our club show support.

I mentioned this at the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club meeting last night and most are in favor of getting a brick. Now to get it before Bowling Green! Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Oh, I think that would be a great idea. If the funds are there, obviously. I'll vote yes.
