Steve da Wrench is in charge of the Agenda.
We'll be rolling into town on Wednesday to get a nice, early start on getting everyone together Thursday morning.

Kevin: If we make good enough time, you'll be seeing us on Tuesday at your house. My 2003 Streets & Trips software will guide us via GPS to your doorstep. We'll need you to help us figure out a good place to get some grub and a bed for the night. Once we help you get the cars loaded we'll make the run to B.G. the next day. BTW: The shipment is arranged and will go out on July 8th. 2 pallets. Are you ready for them?

You can crash on my floor if you want. (Damn, I'll have to clean the house some.)
If they can give you/me a rough idea of what day/time I'll make sure I'm home to put them in the basement.

Thanks. We might just take you up on that.
I'm hoping they will keep me posted on the delivery time. It'll be truck freight, so I'm not quite sure how it all works, but I'll make sure they have my phone # in case there are questions.

All I need is a little advanced warning. I just don't want them dropped off in the driveway and it sits there all day and take the chance that some walk away.
Guess I'll go get one of those air mattresses, I need to get one any way.

If it's coming by freight, it might require a signature. Hmmmm......we may need to re-think this.

As long as I know which day they expect to deliver it, I can take off work and be there waiting for it.

We won't know until the truck rolls into town. How much notice do you need?
I'm checking w/the NCM again to see if they can help us out. Will keep you posted.

Teri, you said it is being shipped on July 8th, from where??? They should be able to tell you which day it would arrive in Louisville. You can even give them my cell phone number to call me when they are on their way. I don't mind taking off to be there to sign for it, I need to catch up on chores around the house anyway.
As far as the museum, I can get a guy with a hitch to help me haul a small U-Haul trailer to get it to the museum. But I'd be worried about leaving it sit there for the week, unless Larry can guarentee us it would be "secure". I can always rent a small U-Haul truck and we just convoy down with it and turn it in down in BG, if you and Steve are in the same vehicle. If all else fails I'll truck it down the weekend before and leave the truck at a friends house in BG, until the gathering.
As long as we can get it to my house, I'll get it worked out getting it down there, one way or the other.
Maybe some other folks would want to meet up with us in Louisville on that Wednesday at a set time and we all convoy down together.
Also if we need maps and directions for the convoy, cruise or whatever, I can work them up and even go down to do dry runs if necessary. Our KY F-Body Club has several members in Bowling Green that would help with the model cars or whatever.

Since it'll be truck freight, I don't know how long it'll take to get there since it depends on what deliveries that truck has along the way. I believe they are shipped out of Southern California. Sherman at Welly will let me know the estimated delivery date once the truck is on the road.
I'll look into a one-way U-haul cost for a small truck. I don't mind driving it from your place to the NCM. It's driving a U-haul across the Country that I was avoiding.
Stay tuned...
