Good morning, Camaro and Firebird Friends!
Once again, there will be a national gathering....an invasion if you will........at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The dates have been set for Sept 16-18. (last event will probably be Saturday Night so that people can hit the road early Sunday........)
Very shortly, there will be a list of activities on the Corvette Museum's website (www.corvettemuseum.com) but meanwhile, the museum has negotiated a special price at the Holiday Inn. Please note that you must request a room under the block held for "F-Body"
I'll be sending you more information as we finalize plans......and yes, I quit smoking when we get 1,000 Camaros and Firebirds at the event!
I hope to see you there..........
Scott

So the event this year is scheduled for Thursday - Saturday, instead of Friday - Sunday???

We'll have SSOA ThurSSday for our group and Friday/Saturday for the main event. Feedback from the past few years indicated that most people needed to get on the road earlier, so we'll have an informal breakfast on Sunday for everyone to say their goodbyes and get on their way home.
We plan on rolling into town on Tuesday so we have plenty of time on Wednesday to get everything in order for the weekend.

Teri, I'll get there Wednesday if you need any help setting things up.

Thanks Kevin! We're hoping to roll into town on Tuesday and get started, but I'm sure we'll need all the help we can get on Wednesday, too (packet assembly, etc).
