Had them installed today...on the way home, I passed every "test" - not a single scrape anywhere from the shop to the office to home.

Until I got home...

My garage, a single car unit, sits higher than the alley and it has a slight bump leading up into it...about 3 inches tall. I can only swing the car so wide to get her in at an angle.

Anyhow, the brace that's covering the exhaust pipe scraped like crazy when pulling into the garage. That's the only thing that made contact. It appears that I could bend it up a bit - just an inch or two and have it still not contact the pipe.

Has anyone modified this brace for the same reasons? Any help would be greatly appreciated...I can avoid every single scraping bump except for the one 2 feet behind my SS.
