I have been trying to decide whether or not to order the Y2Y bilstein option. The dealers in my area do not stock SS's let alone SS's with Y2Y options. Could I get some feedback from everyone if I should consider getting this option. The SS will be basically a daily driver during summer (except in rain) and stored during winter. The SS will not be used for racing, mostly for shows. I may take it to the track for none racing events such as INDYK2. I am looking for a soft ride that holds well in the corners during everyday fun. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Same here. I took mine to Limerock and I was soo impressed with it. I added SFC's and a STB and it handles even better.

Another Bilstein supporter here, my 99 didn't have it, my 2000 does, and it's AWESOME! Huge difference over stock, I noticed when I first test drove the car, just shooting a U underneath the freeway in front of the dealership. "WOW" is a great word to describe it. NO lean at all.... And it sits about an inch lower in the rear than the regular SS, not to much.... just right A definite "must have" on any SS or Hawk. Good luck!
