I flew Legend airlines when I first came to VA for job interviews. If no one has flown Legend it is the best way to travel by air yet.
On the backs of every seat is a TV monitor where there are several sports channels and a GPS tracking system where you can watch the plane travel across the geographical region while it tells you alt. and air speed.
NOW TO MY POINT
A coworker gave me this link which is a GPS flight tracker which essentially is the same thing as what was is on Legend.
If you have relatives coming for the Holidays, call 'em and get the flight number and airline, go to your computer, sit back and watch the show. www.thetrip.com/ft/home/0,2096,1-1,00.shtml

Very cool site.

Here's one of the same sort, but a higher level.

My wife, Heather and I saw the press release on Legend's website. My wife is not a bit surprised.
My wife worked for the company that designed their aircraft. Legend owed the company that Heather worked for 3/4 of a million dollars just from design alone.. course this doesn't include money that they owed for their staff, day to day operations nor costs for their own terminal.
Lots of hodge podge crap between Legend and the company Heather worked for which never worked out when my wife was employed w/ the company.
Heather knows Allan McAtor personally and believes that his statement was truth especially w/ all the crap that American Airlines was trying to pull w/ them.
It sucks that they went bankrupt. It seemed to be a good thing going.
