Hi there!
I'm a newby! I just got a small stone chip...star-shaped. on the windshield...not directly in line-of-sight, but noticable. Any advice? Has anyone used the repair service? Is it better just to get a new one?

Definately try to get it filled. The sooner the better because dirt, etc. will get into the crack(s). And, the crack may enlarge.

This happened to my '91 RS twice. The glass repair filled both of them and I could barely tell they were there. Several years went by with no problems.

I shudder at the thought of the cost of a windshield for the 4th gen.

I've had one repaired as well. It turned out perfect!! Have it fixed before the hot/cold/hot/cold causes it to expand!

I have the repair guy here and he says the stone crushed a little of the glass and even though he can fix the little star shaped cracks, it won't look like new.
I'm still torn because I want it to look like new!
