I, against my will, have had to transport a 79lb lab dog with white/orange hair about 45 miles on four different occasions. All four times I put down a blanket, but despite my attempts, the rear section of my SS is covered in dog hair. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way for me to tackle a complete internal cleanup of my car.. Sal doesn't make Zaino carpet cleaner that I know of.. hehehe

Suggestions? Please?

ohhh JR. I totally hear ya!

I have a golden retriever. I find hair everywhere. Dilligent vacuming is the only corrective measure that I am aware of.

From a preventative side.... use the biggest sheet you can find and cover as much as you can. Dont open the windows much, or if possible, keep them closed. The wind just blows the hair into every nook and cranny.

Maybe brushing the dog out before could help too. It should pull alot of the loose hair out.

So far, I haven't had to put the dog into the Hawk yet, because I know what's in store if I do.

My suggestions:
1) Shave dog.
2) Wrap dog in plastic wrap
3) leash dog to mirror, drive slow
4) My sister has her yellow lab on a special diet, she hardly sheds at all. Only have a lot of physical activity.

You probably can't keep the dog from shedding some hair, but using wide masking tape on the carpet will help pull up what you can't vacuum out.

One of the best carpet cleaners I've used so far is Mothers, Spray on, wait a few, wipe thoroughly with clean towel. For the hair, vacuum and then use Teri's tape idea or one of those sticky lint removers.

.....

You should talk with jimB0: he's had a lot of experience shaving sheep. Of course, he does it for different reasons.....
