My 2000SS sets in a heated garage for a couple weeks at the time. When I do take it out for a drive, the suspension parts " creek ". Is there anything that can done to elminate that? The SS only has 1,000 miles on the odometer. The dealership told me to drive it more.

My Hawk does that occassionaly also. What I do is mix some powdered graphite with a bottle of rubbing alcohol, put it in a spray bottle, and mist all the moving rear suspension parts and bushings.

Seems to work pretty well, and it won't accumulate any road grunge like litheum or any other grease would.

Hope this helps
Tim

Go to your local GM parts counter and get the Rust Penetrant and Inhibitor Heat Valve Lubricant part # 1052627 and spray your Lower Control Arm bushings with it, also spray your panhard rod bushings. This stuff has graphite in it.
