Dan, you need to make your thread much more political than it is before any moderator will consider locking it. They have an unpublished scale by which they measure each thread in order to determine it's relative degree of politically incorrectness. Although I don't have access to this scale, from experience I'm able to judge the necessary politically incorrectness level in order to get my threads locked. I think you'll need to start posting large amounts of threads with varying degrees of political commentary in order to get experience in thread locking oratory.

One criteria that can justify locking a thread would be using the word political or any version of the word five or more times. As you can see in Jims reply, he only used the word political four times, thus ensuring thread life. You can e-mail SLP directly for the rules. I believe they have just completed a complete guide in .pdf format that will be available to those who are more proned to politically oriented threads.

Mark, I thought you and Jim helped a great deal by pushing the boundaries of how many people you could piss off. When you hit the threshold, slam! Just like my kids. They test to see how far they can go before I lock them up!

Let's see, I will not give up my guns. I will not give up my gas guzzling V8. I will not give up my polluting 2 stroke dirt bike or quad track. I will be willing to give up my 4 stroke quad sissie machine. Girls can't do anything as well as boys. Anyone south of Conn is a redneck. BO does sheep. Kerm is lizard breath. Jimmy Mac is a physco. White men can't jump. Camaro's are way better than any other car. SS's are way faster, better looking and cooler than Z28's. I voted republican only because I am in the 1% of the wealthy folks in the US. I hate Mustangs. Live Free or Die! Canada is really just north NH. How am I doing?? Busch is a God. Gore is bore. Jesse Jackson is a jerk. Nixon was a great president. Men should be able to leave the lid up! Black folks should stop whining and move on with the future. Chinese shouldn't be allowed to drive. Japanese people should be held accountable for Pearl Harbor. Europeans are all lazy and have too many holidays. Italians are the best cooks and lovers. French still haven't paid their war debt. I hate everyone and don't care if they like it or not. I shouldn't have to abide by the laws. I am better than anyone else and should be allowed to do what I want. Street racing is really dumb. Gas should be cheaper. Tires should be cheaper. The F-Body should live, with an LS6.
