A friend of mine works at a bumper shop and I borrowed there handheld polisher and polishing rouge. Its a stainless steel buffing pad with, I think its called but don't quote me on it, "stainless steel poilshing rouge". It took me about 5-10 minutes per tip. They actually cleaned up real nice.
Hey poSSum whens the next time your coming thru 'toon town??

I used Nevr-Dull which I bought at the Canadian Tire Store here in Canada. It is wadding polish and can be used on any metal and even glass. It is made in the US by the George Basch Co. in New York. I'm sure this stuff has been around since the ark. I've used it in the past on chrome. I put about 3 to 4 applacations on the tips by hand and then some polish before putting the tips on the car, and they came out pretty good. I'll use it again and then polish after the nevr-dull.
