Okay, on our Veteran's Day Cruise....myself along with Fred Zep timed my car from 0 - 60 and the best I could get was 6.2 seconds. NASTY for all that I've done. Problems with this... First, I was launching wrong. I was mashing the pedal down and that just created wheel spin like mad so I was losing time from the start. Also, my trans for some odd reason had slipped all three times we ran. So, from there...the best time we could get was 6.2.Well, today I took the ride out with a friend who timed me in the ride. My best time from 0-60 was 4.6 seconds. Yea baby....much better. 
I got my launching down now... So, I'm ready for the track now!!! :laugh: I am still learning how to launch effectively, but with a few runs...I should be fine.
Oh, here are the mods upcoming....
Next week, I'll be ordering Hooker Headers 1 5/8ths shorties stainless steel and Jet Hot coated with Stage 8 Locking Bolts. Y-Pipe to convert my dual cat back to a single cat back with a Random Tech cat. O2 Simms.
A few months down the road will come the Heads, Cam, and Roller Rockers. That will be good for where I want to be....very close or just past 400 HP with a nice Torque figure to boot!
The 396 is now out of the question due to the amount of money I'd be putting into it. We're talking close to $18,000.00 and that is not where I wish to go....
