Thought I'd post this here for anyone who has had this problem.

I was having trouble connecting my laptop to the OBDII port - namely Autotap not seeing the module or vehicle. After a little experimentation, I finally contacted B&B. They told me to test pin #16 (power) and pin #5 (ground) to see if my OBDII port was getting power. Turns out, it was not.

The OBDII port gets it's power from the cigarette lighter - I assume it's just patched into that wiring. In any event, I messed around with my lighter and discovered that it wasn't working...thinking I had forgotten to plug it back in when recently swapping out shifters, I took a look. Connections were all good.

Turns out that the lighter fuse was blown. That was it. Replaced the cigarette lighter fuse and Autotap connected on the first attempt.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else experiences this...might save you from screaming at your brand new AT1 module.

Good info! If I ever have that problem now and manage to remember this post, I'll be in good shape. Thanks for sharing the solution.
