I've had plenty of cars with keyless entry and this is the only one thus far that I seem to hit the panic button on an annoyingly frequent basis.

Same answer .. I used electrical tape instead of scotch tape ... and it's easy to undo again.

I had enough false alarms myself. So I opened up the transmitter and scraped the metal off the rubber on the panic button and problem fixed
