I have had my 5.0 for a while now, and I LOVE it! But I wonderd what it would be like with a shorter stick???? well I knew that there wasnt a "Lue's stick for the 5.0, so. I had set mine off to a realy well known machine shop to have a few of the threads taken off, I just wanted them to take off 3/4 of an inch and make shure that the H on my knob would still line up ok....... here is the before and here is the after....... Havent drove it yet, will post my feelings on that later, but it feels good siting in the garage
By the way, my dad is a tool and die maker for GM, aaahhuummm THANKS DAD

Well took the SS for a few short runs it town last night and I the the shorter stick feels good, not to much of an diff but it does feel like it fits me better? I dont think that I would pay for a shorter stick, but the price was right this time

Just to let you know, there is a Short Stick for the Pro 5.0. Part number is 52502A-BLK. I've had one for about a year now and introduced it because of all the requests I received for it. It shortens the throw about 20% and is about 2 inches shorter than the Pro 5.0 stick.
Just FYI...
