how do you add a pic in your signature?
i tried the old way.. it didnt work...
i put:

[IMG] then http://www.yada.yada.yada/dada.jpg then [/IMG]

I do it the old fashioned way and seems to work for me....dunno, can you post the pic you're trying to use outside of your sig?
