One word......unfrigginbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I installed it yesterday. It's sounds sooooo great. I don't what people are talking about when they're saying that it's too loud. It's not. Only when you open it up. As far as cruising and the "drone". It's there at 1800 rpms at 55mph. People........we are SS and Firehawk owners.....who the hell drives 55?? Give me a break!! Suggestion to the ones who drive 55. Get a V6 . My friend who helped me install it has the chambered exhaust and he said the drone sounded the same as his. For the people who have it sitting in the box and are afraid of installing it because they'll think it's too loud.....SHAME ON YOU!!! Shame on you for not giving the Loudmouth a chance. It was soo worth the wait. Now it sounds the way it's supposed to sound.
As far as the install, it wasn't to bad. I had dropped the passenger side of the axle and removed the spring. My friend and I we're installing Sphon lower contraol arms and Panhard rod so we figured it'll just make the whole install easier. We took the SLP dual/dual exhaust out in one piece.
The install was a piece of cake 15 mins flat.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants their F-bod to sound like a real muscle car!
Hats off to SLP on this one. I couldn't stand the dual dual but they made up for it on this one.
As for interior noise. Talking is just fine. Only if you really wail the pedal will it disturb conversation. I firgure at this time you should be concentrating on the road in front of you and not anywhere else. As for music inside the car. Let's put it this way you won't have to turn it up. I was waiting for the whole car to be vibrating. It didn't at all. So I hope this helps. Congratulations to anyone who installs this exhaust!

Thanks for sharing your experience Joe. I was recently able to finally hear a Loudmouth and I liked it so much I bought it. I should have the parts next week and then under the car I go!!

I've been a Borla fan for years. The Loudmouth sounds very close to the Borla on my '97 30th M6 Z28. The LS-1 just has a different sound with the Borla than the LT-1's. I had the Borla on my '99 A4 Z28 and it was really nice, but just not the same. The Loudmouth captures the sound I want and it scares away the 5.0's as well.

Good luck and have fun!!

Andy
