It finally got warm enough here on long island, around 60 deg. so I could put on my first coat of zaino! First I used the clay bar on the hood and trunk to get rid of some water spots and bird crap etchings. Then I used the z1 followed by z2. I was able to buff it out in about an hour. The car came out great, nice and shiny, and the zaino was very easy to work with. I was wondering about the z5, does it work any differently than the z2, just wondering if I should get some. Does anyone use the gloss enhancing spray between coats and how do you use it?
Does it make a difference? About how many coats of z2 do I need to put on till I get that really deep shine?

I used the clay bar on the entire car before my first coat of Z1. During the first few months I had the car I put on about 5 coats of Z2. The shine just keeps getting deeper.

Over the last 6 months or so, I've not had the time to put on any more coats until this last weekend. Water still beads even on 6 month old Z2. I put another coat of Z1 on and used Z5 on the black roof and Z2 on the rest ofthe car, including the chrome 5 spokes.

To see the results, meet me in Albuquerque in early May.

If you have a dark colored car, the Z% definitely is a must, takes out the swirl marks more and more with each use.

The spray enhancer is great after either the Z2 or the Z5. Spray on a LITTLE mist, using a fresh clean towel, spread with one side, then wipe dry with the other, do not allow it to dry without wiping. If it does though, just spray over and do it again. It really enhances the shine.

Yes Sir - Zaino does it. The Z5 is great for dark colours to help hide swirl marks.

I love the gloss enhancer. You can do the whole car in a few minutes and it really does enhance the shine.

I found you start to notice the difference after about 40 coats of Z2.

Keep it up!! and enjoy the look!!
