Driving back from Chula Vista Thursday afternoon, came upon a metallic blue SS coupe...driver noticed and we exchanged glances and smiles...then he followed 805 and I took 54 to the 5. Looking at the list of members from this area, it could have been EWB SS...Warren, was that you???

Hi Andy, No, it wasn't me, my tags say EWB SS and I have T-tops, I have noticed that most of us SS owners try to acknowledge each other I always do

Geezze.... A few times I have given a quick wave to other SS drivers without one single accknowledgement. In fact most Camaro drivers that I have passed by are the same way. Even my neighbour just down the street who has a Z28 Convertible, wouldn't even give me the time of day. I was out side one sunny day a few weeks ago and had just finished washing the SS when he drove by with the top down. I watched him drive by and was going to wave to him but he didn't look my way. Sheesh, what a snob. I thought that neighbours were supposed to be friendly...

I know I always try to wave if I see another SS. Most of the time people in Z28s don't bother looking, but I have got a bunch of return waves. I think its cool and the friendly thing to do.

I've seen a couple of SS's around here and I wish there was some way to communicate with the drivers, but so far no luck. There was the one I mentioned above and the other two...both pewter. They both had vanity plates...AWESOMESS and NUMUSCLE...both California tags. I haven't seen them again so they could have been visiting, but it would be neat if all SS owners could be informed of the existance of SSOA. Any Ideas!!!
