All, evidently, when i bought the car, used with only 8K miles on it, the lock nut key, grew legs and walked off. I need to get these rims off, but the only way the dealer says is to "blow" them off. This would be ok, but he also said that it could damage the rims!!! that I dont want. Please tell me there is something else I can do. Can they order a new key by using the VIN# of something. Please help.

most tire shops have a selection of "keys" that will work. Lots of people loose them. I would not worry too much.

I tried my same key on 5 different SS's in Va last year. It fit 4 of the 5. just try a friends key. You do have a friend with an SS right?
