J.R. installed the 200mph guages into my SS yesterday. To start off..they look sweet! I believe he currently has 3 colors for the face (black, blue, white). I had the blue installed. It's a lighter blue with white numbering. At night the numbers are an indiglo type color.

The one thing that needs to be done is you have to give you gage cluster in order to get proper recalibration. I had no problem because I live close to GMS. HOwever, I was told that it would take 2-3 days before I would get mine back. I dropped it off yesterday morning and J.R. called me to pick it up that afternoon. So it can be done in a day. For those of you who have to ship in your cluster...figure about a 3-4 day lead time (re-calibration and shipping).

Unfortunately I did't have time to take a digital pic. I will do it this weekend and post it on Monday. LIke I said the gauges look great. Good job J.R.!

Here are the links to the pics. The last one doesn't show too well. The numbers are an indiglo color at night.

First of all they look great, but I have to ask this question. How often are you over 155 to make having these gauges actually worth while?

How much did they cost? Is it a whole new gauge cluster or just an overlay & a recalibrated speedometer? That SS is looking as good as ever.

EC

GMS is out here in SoCal? Does the new gauge face use the existing lights or are they independently wired to the fuse box?

There is a topic on this at LS1.com in the group specials forum. The price for gauges is a low $299.00. Count me out.
