While searching for the right blue paint for our calipers.....I ran across this nice guide for the DIY'ers out there (Do It Yourselfers).
How to paint brake calipers

Mark: as soon as I find the right color paint, I'll be sending in my $$ for the white caliper decals!

I have not done this yet, but when I do the Ford Dark Blue Engine Enamel is pretty close to our color. There is also a Cadillac dark blue, but I haven't seen it yet.

I have been trading e-mail with Restomotive Laboratories/POR-15

They recommend using a 500 degree paint for calipers. But the link you used looks like they've got a good plan. I just didn't see a dark blue.

We can probably share a can of it (if we ever find the right blue that is).

Yea, everybody should paint those calipers and then top them off with a set of these! E-mail me if you want a set.

By the way, HTWLSS, the white decals you requested are ready to go.

How do the decals hold up under the heat generated by the brakes... assuming they are applied to the calipers.
