Morning all. Drove the SS in today and it's gonna be too hot to take off the tops. Yikes, it's not July yet and already days in the mid 90's. Oh well, the sun's out and I'm not unemployed ...... yet! Enjoy!

Thought about you the other day when I received my September issue of Muscle Car Mag. with that Hemi Dart on the cover. Could you still handle a little car like that or have your reflexes diminished to just turning the pages !

Hey OG, I did read that article (and yes Dan, the pages ARE now stuck together ) I had to laugh when I read the puchasers disclaimer that you had to sign acknowledging that it was an "off road" vehicle only with no warranty, and that it would be loud, rough idling, have poor fuel economy, be high reving, have no street manners, etc etc etc, because I had to sign a similar disclaimer when I bought my Hemi Belvedere, and that was supposedly a street legal car. Boy what I'd give to have one of those...and I'm sure I'd even try to drive it on the (dry) streets from time to time.
Well, at least I have the magazine article to reminisce the good old days...
...that is, if I can just get the pages unstuck again...

...just thinking how our cars today are so comfortable and a tad bit quicker and certainly faster than what we had back then.
But there's STILL something to say about the rumble, the shakin' the smell and the "just on the edge of loosing it" acceleration of one of those behemoths of the 60's.
Glad I was there...
