Well, I decided that with all the care I have given my car, I just couldn't stand to look at the rusty rear end anymore. I ordered POR15 smei gloss black to paint the read end and rusty suspension parts and a pint of the grey to test how it would work on my garage floor. The order arrived and the box was damaged in shipping. The can was opened and the paint was all over the inside of the box. I sent an email to the sales dept and in just a day or two received another order. Just wanted to relay this story about the excellent customer service that POR 15 provided. We all have bad stories and we are quick to publish them, I thought it would be nice to convey a happy ending! Thanks POR15, nice job!!

I've got a sample kit from their Canadian distributor. Really quick turnaround on the order.

If I was half as fast getting around to "installing" it.

POR15 is very good, I used it on my SS a few months ago.
The finish is excellent, almost like an epoxy. The best part is that you dont have to clean the metal before you paint, it actually adheres better to rust!
It will look great when its done.

Two words of advice ..... rubber gloves

POR-15 is great! I just used it to paint my calipers. I agree with the comments that their customer service is great.

I have enough left over I too am going to try the rear end. See the story at:

Good luck!
