Today I had the pleasure of spending the day road racing the Camaro SS at the MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Compliments of Mr. Scott Settlemire and Chevrolet. I had the pleasure of pushing the 2001 Camaro SS to its limits on a road racing course. This was pure Camaro fun at its best!
Don't get me wrong, I have always known the 4th Gen Camaro SS is Something Special. But, until you have the opportunity of pushing the car to its limit on a race course there is no way of knowing what the car is capable of doing.
Imagine, ten (10) equally equiped Camaro SS's running against each other on 1.7 mile road racing course. The experience has me coming away with a new found appreciation for the car I have so casually driven back and forth to work at fifty-five miles per hour each day. THIS CAR IS AWESOME!!
For those of you who have had a similar experience you know what I am feeling right now. If you have not...I hope you get the opportunity soon!!!
A huge thank you goes out to Scott Settlemire for inviting me to this event. The experience was awe inspiring...
If anyone ever has the opportunity to put the Camaro SS through it paces on the race track, do not pass it up. It will change your perspective and appreciation for what a great car the Camaro SS really is!

You are right! I guess I'll have to start saving my nickels, dimes, quarters and $100 bills! I hear it is money well spent.
