It was awesome! I went to the Richard Petty driving experience on Sunday at California Speedway. It was great. The power in those cars is unbelievable, the handling, everything actually...especially when you consider you aren't driving them to the extreme that the NASCAR drivers do. All I can say is WOW. It was definitely an experience and one I would definitely recommend to everyone. They said they would not allow any faster than a 147 MPH avg lap speed on this track and mine was exactly that. The track was great, the people were great and the cars were great.

On a side note, there was a little bit of concern this weekend. I went to the Colorado River with some friends and family. One of the boys, 10 years old, had his shoulder sliced almost severing his arm when the rope from the boat snapped. He had to be flown to the hospital and had surgery to repair the damage. He is doing very well and will fully recover but it definitely makes you take a little different look at life.

Whoever said you couldn't run away from your problems obviously wasn't driving an SS.
