Well it's kinda hard for me to be collecting my thoughts tonight. My German Shepard Jessica, best friend of 13 years, passed away in my arms when I got home from work a little while ago. She had been battling cancer. I'm just sitting here bawling my eyes out as I type. I'm just totally stunned. It's one thing when you know the end is coming. It's another when it happens. It just goes right through you. It's almost like she knew and waited for me to come home. It's amazing how they act like people. Girl, All the memories I will never forget. You will always live on. You will forever have a special place in my heart. I miss you already. Watch over me and rest in peace Jesse.

As one who has had and lost pets (freinds)all my life including some shepards, I know well what you are feeling and it is truly hard. I don't need to tell you Joe since I know from your past writings that you have a good heart, but be thankful for the wonderful times you had and time will heal this, you won't get over it, I don't think you ever do, but you will get on.
