Steve just called me to say that the latest car in the Heino Fleet has been delivered.
It's a 1969 Fathom Green RS that Steve put a 502/502 and 6-speed transmission in a few years ago for a friend. The friend called Steve today to tell him he needs to sell it. Seeing how we're bleeding hearts and can't risk seeing this car get into the wrong hands.........we've decided to take it into our home. This will round out the First Generation portion of our fleet. We have '67, '68, and now '69 covered.
We're taking it to the Pacific NW Camaro Club's big show this weekend in Bellevue, Washington, so pics will follow next week.

... maybe it's a good thing the Camaro is taking as break after 35 years ... your garage just won't be able to hold too many more
Congrats on the purchase ... that's a car I'd want a ride in

If you're running out of room, you can store it in my garage. I won't even charge you rent. Just make sure you leave the keys. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

Remember a couple or few years ago when Steve was putting in that 502/502 and 6-speed for a friend? It's the same one and Steve got first dibs on it. We made our friend save the original block and trans for it. It can be put back to a numbers matching car quite easily (or so Steve says - it's easy for HIM).

Yeah, I thought that was the one Steve and I discussed a while back. That's having your cake and...
I thought about playing with my 69 in similar ways but I just can't get motivated to take it apart; it ain't right!
But thinking a bit further down the road, it might however, be a different sales ploy if I decide TO move it; "...hey man, I know where the ORIGINAL engine is and hooked to an M22!!!!"

hey guys, ihave seen this car first hand, and it is a beauty inside and out. if i finally get a '69, doing what was done to this car would definately be a consideration.
