I just have to share my latest experience with you guys and gals. I attended a Go karting racing school on monday put on by Terry Ives race kart school. For those of you who have never done somthing like this (myself included intil now) it is an adrenaline junkies dream come true! The karts are fully preped race ready 125cc clutch karts (no shifting) and the school provides all the neccesary safety clothing and equiptment. The cost total was $275.00, and includes the all the race driving on the grand prix style track and related instruction. This place even simulated the Laguna Seca corkscrew (downhill left hander to an off camber right hander) I tell ya, going 55-60 mph in a go kart that are 1 1/2" off the ground is intense! If any of you get an opportunity to try this, it will definately satisfy your need for speed. One suggestion though, you will be extremely sore the next day from all the g forced turns, so dont plan on doing much strenuous activity for a day or two. Try it its a blast!!
