his name is Lokei. named after the third son of Thor... misschief i believe he's famous for... LOL.
hi folks! long time no visit here. hope all is well!
Lokei is now 7 months old. his owners adopted him from one of those organizations which rescue abandoned pets. they got him when he was around 3 month's old. never owned a dog... they, nore the league, knew this was a wolf hybrid. he's around 50% is my guess, the legs, narrow chest, the gold eyes, the tail, the big paws. weighs approx. 50 lb right now.. so he'll max aout around 80 maybe.
theire kids are scared of the wolfdog..though he has done nothing to them whatsoever.. its bizzar..
one of my vets called on me for help.. she lives next door to these folks.. recognized the wolf in the dog..and asked if i could help the folks deal with the proper raising.. come to find out.. they dont want to keep it now. shame.. but maybe its for the best.
i went over there last sunday to meet lokei.. played with him, spent some time with him. he's an awesome animal. friendly as can be.. just a plain ol playful pup right now.. means no harm and loves people.
email me if you are interested. he's been nuetered, all his shots are current. and they will pay shipping if yu cant come to get him. she's a school teacher and wont be home with the kids during the day when they get home..i guess thats the concern... older kids in the neighborhood have brain washed them.. sad.. real sad.. they think the wolfdog is going to eat them..ahahahahaha

Good lick finding a home. What a beautiful animal. I wish I could but, I got too many kids already!!
My last dog was a Norwegian Elkhound (before the two Goldens) and his name was Loki. Yes, it means mischief, I looked up Norwegian folklore when I got him and that is what I found.
Nice to hear from you, too, I think!! Ha ha.

beautifull indeed - but my dogs were bred to kill wolves! that would not be a pretty sight.
i'm sure he'll find a nice home.
