Got the word yesterday my 35th Anni LE Vert has been built and is sitting in the staging area at St. Therese.
The TPW was 8/20 and the car was supposedly completed at the factory on 8/21!
So, now the waiting game begins for the car to get transported to SLP. From what I've read the wait can be as long as 3 weeks. If that ends up happening maybe I'll get the new SLP airbox to go w/ the D/D exhaust!
The dealer thinks he will have it sometime around the second week of September. Looks like I'll get some top down weather in the car this year after all.

Word just in from SLP Marketing -- The SLP build number is 1505 for my 35th Anni LE Vert.
Life is good!
Now if only my stock would show some progress in the right direction before having to pay for the car!

Will you keep your other SS or is this one replacing the other one?
If you are selling your old SS, then yes, you'll retain your Founding member status. The member # will change to the year and SS# of your car. F02-1505 is correct.
If you're adding the car (rather than replacing), a second SS added to your membership is $20.
Let me know if you will keep both cars or only one and we'll go from there.

Yes I will be replacing my 99 SS with this one. Actually, I sold it a couple weekends ago and the guy who bought has agreed to wait about taking delivery until my new one comes in.

Hi John, Still waiting for mine as well. Waiting for a response from the dealer. Unfortunately for me, I am having trouble selling my '98. There is absolutely no market for used SS's here in MI. How did you sell yours...newspaper, on-line, eBay? I got mine for $1400 under blue book retail ($18,500) , and still no luck!

Kevin,
It turns out one of my old neighbors who is a pilot for American Airlines purchased my car. I had no idea he had any interest at all. During a visit with him one night I mentioned I was going to list the car in the newspaper. He expressed his desire to buy the car and the deal just kind of feel in my lap. I ended up getting $20,875 for the car.
I wish you the best in selling your car.
John
