Hi Guy's,
I havent' written a message in a long time,
I guess that qualifies me as a Lurker now!
Just thought I would share my vacation events. My girlfriend and I drove out to
Vancouver to see some friends. I would have
loved to have driven the SS but was to afraid of the amount of km's and the abuse the paint
would have taken. Anyways, I would reccomend
driving out west and seeing that part of the
country, there is so much to see and do. We
were lucky because we had a couple of great
tour guides!
I did see a couple of SS's on our way, a Hugger Orange with black convertible top near Munasing Mich. (Saturday Aug 11th) and a
silver SS in downtown Vancouver.
Just thought I would share my two weeks vacation. Man did it fly by!!
Thanks Guy's

Glad you had a good trip ... that's a lot of miles in two weeks. Did you pass through or by Winnipeg ... or did you stay further south?

Personally, we don't let the miles and the road rash deter us from driving the SS ... it's our official "economy" car Rolled 56,000 km on the weekend.

Hey Possum,
We did pass by Winnipeg on the way home.
We took the Trans-Canada hwy untill
Winnipeg and then headed south to Grand Forks
North Dakota. The drive from Grand forks
across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Mich. seemed
to take forever. I do agree about lots of miles but I would do it again in a second!
I wish I had more time to spend I
think I may have looked a few people up!
It sure is an awesome country we
live in!
Dave

Next time you'll have to give us a dingle and we can get together ... Even if it's just for a quick coffee.

If it wasn't for Curtis is S'toon, I'd prefer if Saskatchewan wasn't there so we could head staight into Alberta and BC.

We took the "North of Superior" route last year. It's a more scenic drive than throught the states, with a lot less traffic and way fewer semis, but it is a lot longer.

We also took took the Ferry @ Tobermorey (sp) which provided some variety to the trip.
