I work for Verizon, the local phone company in NY. I received these from a friend who is an engineer with our company in lower Manhattan. These are pictures of our building at 140 West St. 7 WTC stood maybe 30 feet away before it collapsed Tuesday evening.
On a quiet summer Sunday evening.... 7 WTC, and our building behind it.
Tuesday afternoon after #7 WTC collapsed
and a picture standing at the corner of our building looking towards ground zero.

i have spent the last five days at what used to be the world trade center. as vivid as the photos are, they do not represent the devestation at ground zero. i now know what hell looks like. my prayers go out to the dead, the missing and the families. please fly our flag. show these cowards that they can not take our spirit! GOD BLESS AMERICA
