Funny you should mention that.
Steve got the phone & cable hooked up in the garage yesterday. We have an area around the TV where we put out our chairs and a space heater.We were eating a pot of home-made chili while we were watching that show! Some of those garages were pretty plush. One thing I noticed was those cars were on display and the garage was more of a showcase than a working garage for cars that are driven.
We'll be wiring, plumbing and sheetrocking over the winter. We bought the fabric for our curtains on Friday night. The downstairs windows will be covered with fabric that resembles racing flags (one each of green, yellow, red, blue and checkered).
We won't be as fancy as some of the ones on Extreme Garages, but it definitely will be a comfy spot for friends to hang out!
