Anyone interested in making it a group event to zip into Vegas either Thursday or Friday after class, hit Race Rock for dinner and do the "Fremont Street Experience"?
We're thinking that since it's off the beaten path with decent parking all around it might work out okay.

Sure, whatever. Dinner places are a rarity so any plans that involve dinner sounds good to me.

If I can remember correctly, the Nascar Cafe is near the Stratosphere...if you are really adventurous, head up to the top of the tower and go on the 2 rides up there - Big Shot and High Roller. If I can do it, anyone can - I am scared of heights! It's a spectacular view, especially at night with all the lights. It would probably be best to do this BEFORE dinner though!

The roller coaster on the Stratosphere was a blast....we had the last ride of the day..right at sunset. Steve was terrified. I don't think we'll get him up there again. He was a trooper though by going on the ride w/me.

"Race Rock" is closed temporarily until the construction across the street is complete...let's hope that is soon! Sorry that I will not be able to attend this year, but I will be in Dallas at the Legends Tour Stop at Huffines Chevy in Lewisville.....not landing in Vegas 'til the next weekend for Super Chevy. Have a blast (and I'm sure you will!) P.S. Joey Red has been given "security duty"

Bummer F-BodFather. It looks like it was Grace and I's only chance to say hello to you in person this year since you didn't come out his way at all. Oh well, I'm sure we will meet up somewhere along the line.
We will miss you at the Vineyard. Grace is looking for new recipe's.
