Pewter.

Just once so far. Late on a Friday, driving through rural South Dakota. Accellerated "briskly" to highway speed from a stop sign. A polite young trooper pulled us over a couple of miles down the road, thought the car sounded a little "loud" (A straight pipe could do that ) back at the stop sign.

Checked my license, was satisfied the car sounded okay at idle and sent us off with a smile

With a friend driving we got stopped in Iowa, doing 70 in a 65 by a power tripping trooper (probably in response to us passing him on the right). He issued a written warning ... and we don't drive through Iowa anymore.

Which car?

The only time I was pulled over was around 15 years ago in my '68 Chevelle. I was leaving Ashland, Oregon (40 mph zone). Cop said I was doing 52 or something like that. I know I was going slower than that because my 2-speed Powerglide had just shifted. His word against mine though. He said it was on his radar. He didn't like my smart-alec answer that he could have saved that from the last person he clocked.
I paid $25 to the City of Ashland. It's called "diversion". If you don't get a moving violation for 6 months, the ticket gets dropped and nothing shows on your record. If you DO get a moving violation w/in 6 months, both automatically get tagged as "guilty" and go on your record. Needless to say, that was my one and only ticket and since it never showed on my record, I'm considered clean.

The colors of our cars?
'67 Camaro = Granada Gold
'68 Camaro = Ermine White
'68 Camaro = mid-80's IROC Blue
'69 Camaro = Fathom Green
'90 IROC = Med. Red Metallic (Maroon)
'99 SS = Navy Blue Metallic
'68 Chevelle = Grotto Blue (painted Petty Blue right now though)
'66 El Camino = Primer Black, soon to be Butternut Yellow.
and last but not least....a Dark Gray '91 Astro Van.

Steve's last ticket was in a customer's Teal Green Explorer of all things. Ugh.

My SS's color is in my sig...

No tickets for the last 5+ years. Before that, I was usually good for one speeding ticket once every 3 years or so, almost always 20 over regardless of speed limit. I got one nasty one many, many moons ago for an estimated 100 in a 55 (major interstate, 4 lanes wide, empty).

That caused me to ...

clean most of the lead out of my shoe...

Pulled over once in the last 12 months. Nice officer thought I accelerated pretty quickly from a stop light to 55 (it is a 55 zone right after the stop light). Officer saw I was coming home from hockey and was old and gray and say good night.

Once in the last 12 months. I accelerated from a 25mph zone into a 55mph zone "a little too fast."

He let me go with a verbal warning - no big deal.

Is that KPH or MPH?

When I drive my "Bright Rally Red" car past the police around here, they all seem to end up going my way if you know what I mean....

I have a 98 Sebring Silver. Been stopped 7 times in the last twelve months. Each time I got pulled over I was questioned for both speeding and once for driving under the influence (I was sober, but my friends in the car with me were blasted). One did result in a ticket which wasnt for speeding.

One time I was standing next to my car parked by the beach and a cop came up and asked me a bunch of questions about my car. It turns out he had just bought an SS and was looking to install the same mods I had! He turned out to be a great guy and we still keep in contact to talk about our cars. Something tells me I may not have to worry about getting a ticket in that area for a while

Party hard.

I was driving in downtown san diego one time and a cop stopped me to ask about my car and said he had one just like it but it was a 2000.

I've got only one ticket and that was for no front plate and my car is silver.

Last 2 encounters with a cop were me driving by and getting thumbs up because they liked my car and at a light one cop had me rev the engine for him and then he gave me a thumbs up.

Teri, I would assume he's asking about our SS's. My SS is silver, and I've never been pulled over in the 3.5 years I've owned it.
