I'm just resting up because my little cousins are coming in tomorrow to spend new years eve with us. I know they are going to wear me out but hey I don't mind as long as they have a good time.
Let's hope for a safe year, a healthy year and most importantly a more peaceful year.

Working: 1. setting up a new printer on a customer's NT network. 2. copying out Word Perfect documents from an SCO Unix system onto tape in preparation to convert them into Microsoft Word format for Windows back at my office. 3. swapping out a dead 24 port 10/100 network switch to get a customer's network back in operation. 4. getting ready for 35 people (wife's relatives) to come to our house tonight for a belated Christmas party! (some will be staying all night at our house)!! 5. thinking about how I wish it was warm and I was driving around in the new SS convertible with nothing else to do!
OK, that was today, you ought to see what I have lined up for Monday and Tuesday for work!

We're sitting here with NATESS and OBSSD. They came over to help Steve in the garage. Nate and I ran errands and Steve & Cy ran cable for our Dish system that'll get installed next week.
I cooked a spaghetti dinner for us and now we're sitting here eating white chocolate OREO's.

Hi there! I have found myself thankful for having everyone around me relatively healthy at this point. This comes after Suz second battle with cancer this past year. She is almost completely back to her normal energy level after having chemo in April. It takes a long time!
Also my 25 year old son, who lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada, just got engaged, as did two of Suz friends here in the San Diego area.
So, we're happy to have a Christmas without the fear of cancer hanging over our heads and we wish the same for all our SSOA members.
Let's pray for a year in which we move closer to learning how to live together peacefully.
Let's pray for a year in which we all have meaningful work we can do to support our selves and our families.
And, most of all, let's pray for our servicemen and women who are spending this holiday season in a forbidding landscape, thousands of miles away from THEIR families, protecting us! Happy New Year, everyone!
