hey art, i understand that you have a block of rooms set aside for the SSOA at a hotel for bowling green. i am planning on carravaning there with steve and teri and was wandering if i should let you know that i would like one of those rooms, or are they all taken? if not, sign me up . btw, how much are they? should we pay you, so you can pay the hotel in one lump some, or figure it out when we get there. could you also please tell me which hotel it is? thanks,
Nate

Teri, I can't find my SSOA flag. How much $$ do I need to send you to buy another one. I'll make sure I don't misplace this one before the event.

Alright! I'm done hemming and hawing about this. It's time for me to commit to this trip once and for all (assuming I don't lose a bunch of vacation time between now and then).
Art, you have yet another e-mail.

That's pretty much how I feel...I'm getting all excited about it and it's still 9 months away! Now that I have my 2002 calendar in my office, I marked off two weeks as vacation. Now I just need to buy all the stuff I want for this trip...cha-ching!

Yeah, curse you for already suggesting the map software with a GPS receiver I'm already up to a tidy sum without thinking about that. But I might be able to get a receiver from work. Now to Office Depot to take a look at their trip planning software.

Hehe...too late. I already bought MS Streets & Trips from Amazon for $25 (after rebate). I can plot our route in there and then export the maps to my Pocket PC and take it with. Ideally, I want to snag one of the laptops and GPS receivers from work but they may not go for that.

If anybody needs a regular old hardcopy of the Kentucky State Map, I work for the KY Transportation Cabinet and can get them for free. You can just e-mail me your name and address and as I can "obtain" them I'll mail them out.

Hey Kevin, When you send your SSOA renewal, could you send me a few maps? I'll distribute them to our other members who will join the caravan (NateSS, OBSSD, etc.)
Thanks!

As long as they're SSOA members, they'll count.
