Me and my buddy finished putting my tachometer and air/fuel gauge up. The only thing left to do now is to wire the green tachometer wire to the engine speed, so the tach works, and the purple wire to the O2 sensor. My only question is where is the easiest access to wire up to the O2 sensor. Another thing, we opened up the PCM and stipped a little of the covering off the white pin-10 wire and, using speaker wire to make the green wire longer, connected it to the white wire, to only test out the tach. The only problem was that first, it reads me idling 500 rpms short of what I was. I then reved it to 4000, but the tach only read up to about 2000. Is there any calibration needed? Or was there just not a good connection to the white wire.

-Sorry for the long letter, but I really need help with this
-Thanks

The reason your tach reading is off is because its probably set/calibrated for a 4cyl of 6cyl engine. you will have to look at the instructions to find out what to do to set it for a v-8 engine. Usually there is wire that needs to be cut, or a switch that needs to be flipped to set it for a v-8. It sounds like you have the correct source for you tach hookup though, but dont use speaker wire. Use regular automotive wire(probably 16 or 18 gauge) and solder all connections so you dont have problems in the future. As far as the O2 sensor hookup, are you sure you are supposed to tye into that? Usually the guages come with their own sender. Just make sure you dont damage the existing wiring or your car wont run right, and hook up to either of the front O2 sensor wires, not the rear ones behind the cats. Hope this helps a little, if you need more help, give myself or HTWLSS a shout.

So, where is a good place to connect the wire from the air/fuel gauge then, like where at along the O2 sensor line. I'm a little confused by the directions. Also, where is the easiest place to tap into the engine speed wire? Preferably further away from the PCM.
