Ummmmmmmmmm, how come you have to work on me to get it done? First of all, I would have to buy the rest of the RC car(money we really shouldn't spend right now), and then the time to do it. By the way, what kind of paint are you using, and what color (to get the right shade?)?

I will just do it in ALL of my free time that I have lying around...............oh! there is some now!!! LOL
Seriously, we might try to paint it up, etc, but not sure about the whole car, maybe just a body. We might even be able to talk obSSd into doing one also. Looking foreward to seeing you again, Amy!

If you are just going to have the car for looks then you don't need an expensive car. Tamiya makes a TL01 that comes as a Ford Lightning kit (electric). The kit runs about $80. I don't think it has the radio but you could get a radio for about $50. You could probably even get a used radio on ebay even cheaper. It won't take much to get that TL01 on the road. It doesn't take that much time to put it together.

I'm not sure about the color of the paint (it is at home). I bought several colors and I am going to mix it. I am just going to have to experiment with it. I'll let you know how the mixing goes.

Come on Steve! You can swing it to build a mini SS can't you?

My car is a Traxxas Nitro 4-TEC. It is gas powered! And I got a set of 10 spokes for Christmas to put on it!

Noooooo...I'm buying too many toys and gadgets as it is lately. No more! No way! Not gonna do it! But I will buy the spare body off you. And I might paint it if I get the chance. I do miss the old RC car I had back in Jr High. Hmmmmmm. They do have all sorts of cool stuff now. No...I won't give in. Well, maybe I'll just start "looking into it."

D'OH...now you've got me thinking about it.

AAAhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........peer pressure, gotta love it. I knew we couldn't even mention it to obSSd without him getting hooked. Just a little more prodding, and he should be there. I know he wont be able to stand others having RC bodies painted like their cars, and him not having one. Especially since it sounds like he used to have RC cars!!!!!!! C'mon Amy, keep workin' on him!
