(Last time I asked, the answer was "soon.")

Another question is can the Donaldson filter be used with the stock Camaro air box?

it's still soon.

SLP has contracted Donaldson to do filters.

SLP Engineering is selling paper ones (GM wouldnt allow oiled as OE)

SLP Performance Parts will be selling a reusable oiled one as aftermarket.

they both are same size as the stock filter.

I was able to order a OEM airbox lid and some Donaldson paper filters from SLP Engineering (248-288-3066) today. I had to supply the vin from my 2000 SS. The lid (I assume it comes with one filter) was $279 and extra filters are $29 (or $23 if you buy three).

Be careful about bragging how much you paid for it; I got beat up over in the ls1.com forum for spending "too much" for an air lid. Of course one guy claims his $11 Fram air filter out flowed the K&N on the dyno (and here I had been thinking you could only do flow tests on a flow bench).

Did the lid come with a Donaldson filter? I assume it does but never actually asked.
