As Teri has mentioned, we are planning some special stuff for SSOA members during the Camaro/Firebird gathering in Bowling Green.
Some activities are being planned for Thursday, as there just isn't enough time to do everything during the packed weekend. If you're planning the trip, it will be worth your while to be there for Thursday.
Details will be released in due time

Our itinerary has us rolling into town on Thursday. I guess we'll have to make sure we're booked for the Best Western for Thurs, Fri and Sat Night. I think we'll be heading North on Sunday after the show and stay wherever we end up unless there's something going on Sunday evening in B.G. We'll play it by ear.

Naaaah.....The SSOA is ironing out details and giving plenty of notice so members can plan ahead for the trip.
We have to get more than 1000 cars there. If every SSOA member brought a friend with an F-body, we'd have it covered easily. We're up to 630 members.

When it gets closer to the event we'll need to do a thread of who is attending with pics of themselves and their cars so we can get an idea of who is who.

Maybe when we get a list of attendees, we can print some of those "Hello, I'm...." nametags or laminated I.D. badges with SSOA neck leashes. They could have our Name, Screen name, Member # and a small pic of our car.

This is really starting to develop into a major happening! It seems the the girls (Kate and my two daughters) want to come too so the whole Luse family will be there (we'll see if they still feel that way in September!). Now I need to figure out if I really want all four of us in the SS for 856 miles!

There's no rush. I have the rooms blocked, in writing, the list of 20 who want them and will be e-mailing out the instructions in the not too distant future.
You'll be calling the hotel directly to put a credit card deposit on your room ... you can't do it until I send them the list of names.
