Good day! The sun is shining, and Zaino-days will return to Mid-Michigan soon. Anyone have any hot tips for making the stock chrome exhaust tips look great? Thanks.

On my dual dual tips I used 2000 grit sandpaper and wet sanded to smooth out the imperfections. Then I used Mothers Mag and Chrome polish to shine them up. Takes some elbow grease but they looked like they were chrome when I was done.

The dual/duals are stainless, not chrome. White scotchbrite and some cleaner does wonders, then follow up with some polish. Triple ought steel wool with some cleaner works on the chrome tips.

Steve

I know the tips arent chrome - I used the mag and chrome polish on them and it worked really well - and now they LOOK like chrome, although now I have the nickel plated Loudmouth tips so it doesn't matter anyway!

Thanks! So, the stock SS tips (35th LE) are stainless, not chrome? And you'd use a cleaner like regular polish with the white scotchbrite?

I use Mothers polish on my Borla Chrome tips on the SS and on the Chrome tips on the Z06. It works very well for me. Also, I Z6 them when I do the car.
