As a fairly new member, I received my SSOA stickers a few days ago. At first I thought they were printed black and red on a white background and I knew where I wanted to put one. But when I went to peal off the backing, I realized the background was clear. My goal was to put the sticker in the middle of my back window but it is tinted and the sticker's black lettering would basically disappear there. Where do most of you stick your SSOA sticker? (hey, be nice!)

Thanks,

Lower RF corner of front windshield, I think is where most people put them.

I have mine in the lower left corner of the windshield. If you cut and paste this address, you can kind of see the sticker.

http://www.geocities.com/mthayman/ss1.JPG

It's a lot more noticeable in person.

That's where our static decal is (lower right, front windshield). Our sticker is located on the airbox.

Some people use the stickers on their helmet, toolbox, detail box or under the hood in various locations.

NATESS has a picture of his under hood location so it's visible at the back of the hood when it's up...hopefully he has it available to show you.

I have one decal on the rear glass, bottom center.
The other decal is on the lower left of the
windshield. One sticker is to the right of the
air box, the other is on the inside surface of the
hood.

I thought someone emailed J.R. about that recently. Here's a thread discussing it:
http://www.chirpthird.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=010220

Maybe he'll see this and tell us if it's possible to make the delete feature available again.

That would be me.

J.R. never replied to my email and I haven't seen any mods to the board. Asked J.R. to consider your suggestion as well Teri.
