How can I tell if my '02 SS has the latest Dual-Dual exhaust??
I've got an '02 SS (#3455) ordered with the Dual-Dual exhaust. It is my understanding that SLP 'upgraded' this system (more aggressive sound??) early on in the 2002 model year.
Is there anything visibly identifiable that would indicate the latest system??? or Can SLP trace this through my order# (DRKQSO) / car #3455???
...It sounds great, but just curious...
Thanks in advance for any information,

Kevin K

The dual/dual that comes with your car stock is not the new dual/dual unfortunately. THe new SLP dual/dual is aftermarket only that means you cannot get it as an option You have to buy it aftermarket from SLPonline. That is what I did for my 2002 hawk, to replace my stock dual/dual as mine sounds quieter than a volvo at 6000 miles

I am going to have it put on in the next two weeks. The over the axle pipe is not as "bent" and looks like afreer flowing muffler

If you are going to replace your exhaust, you should consider the Loudmouth also. It's very aggressive. If this is your daily driver, you may not want the Loudmouth though. It tends to drone at consistant speeds.

He's not a Loudmouth type of guy. Kevin Rags you friggin' monkey, punch a few holes in the side of the muffler and it'll sound a little more aggressive but not too loud.

My car came with the Dual/Dual from the factory. What differences in power does the new one make? This is the first I realized they were different.
How about compared to the loudmouth?

Thanks,
Ryan
